I am a 25 year old Queer woman living in New York City. I recently received my BA in Media Studies with a Concentration in Screenwriting from The New School. My goal is to use writing to tell the stories of people who society has not heard from yet. I aim to be as inclusive as possible in all of my screenplays. As a Screenwriter, my hope is to create stories that real people can see themselves in. I write about things that society has stigmatized, in hopes of normalizing human experiences. I want audience members who have never seen a version of themselves on screen to be able to say “They’re just like me.” Audiences should feel as connected as possible to the shows they watch, no matter what genre it is. Many communities are not currently included in mainstream media in any form. I plan to change that.
